Introductions, inspiration and information

Hi and welcome, this is my first blog where I wish to introduce you to myself not only as an individual but to provide an oversight to the type of personal I am. I will also share my inspiration on a week by week basis and strive to be as transparent as possible.

About Me

My name is Doyle, I am a trained Social Worker with a keen interest in photography as a means to capture the world as I wish it could be seen. My entire professional career has been about challenging perspective and this can be applied within photography too. Something I wish to strive for, as a result I will often use interesting lenses that provide different views and effects. Most notably at the moment; tilt shift.

Inspiration

As noted above, I am inspired by perspective! Within my role as a Social Worker, I am often advocating for an individuals perspective to be heard. Within my photography, I am inviting you (the viewer) to challenge your perspective and see what I see.

Information

I will be transparent, I will utilise this space as a means to reflect in action and be a responsive photographer, being careful to craft my compostion and then reflect on the experience. This blog will serve as a means to engage with my creativity, learn and develop as a hobbyist whilst discussing the concept and application of technique (as I learn).
